What is Priority Processing?
For General and Professional vocations, Vetassess provide a Priority Processing service. Every day, including weekends.
Through this service, applicants can expedite the review of their application.
Applications for Priority Processing are evaluated in 10 business days and within 48 hours of the assessment being completed, the assessment outcome letter is made available for download.
Priority Processing changes
Vetassess priority processing service will change as of July 31, to provide applicants who can demonstrate an urgent need preference when spots are allocated.
The following are urgent grounds for applying for priority processing:
- Candidates have an invitation that has an expiration date that you got from the Department of Home Affairs or a state or territory government of Australia.
- Candidates have eight weeks till your visa expires and can't get another one.
- In the coming eight weeks, Candidate will turn 33, 40, or 45.
- Within eight weeks, the results of English test (IELTS or PTE) expire.
- Within eight weeks, the results of Partner Skills Assessment or English test expire.
Candidate can still apply for priority processing even if he don’t have an urgent reason. The initial distribution of spots will go to candidates who can show an urgent need; any open spots will then be made available to others waiting in line.
Trade vocations are not eligible for priority processing; only professional and general occupations are.
Before applying for Priority Processing?
Before applying for Priority Processing, you should be aware of the following requirements:
- When candidate apply, he must include all required documentation and payment for Priority Processing. The limited period for this service means that he will not be able to add more documents afterwards.
- Authority may carry out additional checks if they discover that the supplied papers are false, deceptive, or inconsistent with the data that has already been submitted, or if they need to investigate their authenticity. The process will probably take longer than 10 business days as a result.
Nigerian and Pakistani educational document requirements changed.
Vetasses now stop requesting verified copies of credentials from HEC Pakistan and, for Nigerian candidates, the office of the registrar of the awarding organization, from August 9 2023.
Candidates with general or professional jobs must adhere to this.
Candidates will not need to submit authenticated copies of their qualifications when they apply, Vetassess authority may request them to do so later on in the application process from the appropriate authorities. The candidate will need to make arrangements for verified copies in case assessor’s request. The request for verified copies may cause the assessment process for Priority Processing to take longer than the usual 10 business days.
Fees willincrease from August 9’ 2023
The cost of applications for common occupations is going to increase in step with inflation.
Prior to August 9, all applications will be assessed at the then-current rates.
New procedures for trade occupation applicants
Beginning on July 3, new Pathway one applicants in unlicensed trades will have to provide more documentary, video, and photographic evidence along with their application for the Documentary Evidence Assessment. This modification is a result of Vetassess authority ongoing efforts to review and enhance their procedures, and it will help them to make a more thorough evaluation of applicants’ qualifications and experience.
