Home Child Care Provider Pilot
Home child care providers are the employees at private institutions, houses, childcare agencies or babysitting service providers, who takes care of a child’s wellbeing, mental and physical health, their social developments or assist the parents by caring their children at offices, home, fitness or shopping centres etc. They usually take care day to day activities of a child if hired at home individually. They instruct the child about body language, personal hygiene and guide them with proper education or knowledge as per the age of child, like, games, swimming, crafts. They do perform picking and dropping the kids to and from school.
To be eligible for this program, an applicant:
- Must have 02 years of full-time work experience in Canada, in the last 04 years, from the application date.
- Have worked for minimum 30 hours a week, at a full-time paid employment.
- Your past experience should match the description of NOC 44100 as per the 2021 NOC classifications.
- Must have cared for a child below 18 years of age at your employer’s or your own home.
- Minimum language requirement is 05 in each band of IELTS (general) or equivalent scores in CELPIP.
- Must have a valid ECA report from a recognized Canadian institution or Canadian post- secondary educational qualification.
Home Support Worker Pilot
This pilot program was designed by the immigration authorities in Canada to cater the care, support Companionship to the elderly, senior citizens, improving or the people of disability by a trained, soft hearted care taker. They usually provide cares to people of old age group or during the hour of need like improvement from any breakdown, facing exhaustion, helplessness, or any disruption in the family. These care givers performs routine check-up or help in following their diet programs as per the instruction from the specialist. They also provide the physical assistance like: changing of dresses, getting them shower or washroom etc. Sometimes, they do perform the responsibilities of washing their clothes, dishwashing or cooking etc.
To be eligible for this program, an applicant:
- Must have 02 years of full-time work experience in Canada, in the disability or chronic diseases, at health facility centre to elderly people etc..
- Have worked at a full-time paid employment as a reg. nurse, license practical nurse, Nurse aid, home support worker or an old age homes etc.
- You might have a license to work in Canada, if at all require.
- Minimum language requirement is 07 in each band of IELTS (general) or equivalent scores in CELPIP.
- Must have a valid ECA report from a recognized Canadian institution or Canadian post- secondary educational qualification.
- Should have a valid offer of employment from Canadian employer except the High commission, Embassy or the office of consulate, Canada.
- Must have worked for minimum 24 months, full-time paid employment.
